Apparently

We rang in the new year playing games and munching on hors d'oeuvres with my brother's family (this trip, Dash added Bubba to his vocal repertoire, for Bubba is my brother's chosen uncle nickname). We were so into our Trivial Pursuit game that we nearly missed midnight- we noticed a mere twenty seconds before 2012. Close one, phew!

Here we all are with our apparent new year's resolutions.

Dash resolves to be more cuddly.

Liam resolves to sit up and take notice more often.

Oh, they both resolve to drink more milk.

Sean resolves to be more contemplative.

Naomi resolves to be cuter. That one's going to fail because you can't get any cuter, Naomi!

Chris resolves to be more restful.

Mom resolves to be more focused.

Matty resolves to not wear silly hats.

Dad resolves to watch more classic car auction shows.

Brian resolves to be more silly.

And due to my lack of photographic representation, I apparently resolve to get out of the spot light. 'Cause I'm totally in it all the time. People are always telling me, "sheesh, let someone else take center stage." Mm hmm.
