water, water, everywhere

We've had a few really heavy downpours since moving to our new neighborhood and it completely transforms the open spaces woven throughout. After one, we went to explore.

Campers

We finally purchased a tent big enough to house all of us. We took it out for a spin during the summer, it did well, staving off the heat of the day and keeping our sleeping bags almost completely dry when it downpoured. A fire at the beginning and end of each day was just perfect. There was a lake nearby that we explored. It did get a bit hot though, you'll have to see Syl's solution.

Dude Perfect Show

Dude Perfect is a favorite among my children- who wouldn't love trick shots and insanely enthusiastic reactions? For Liam and Dash's birthday we got the family tickets to their tour show. It was great fun with all the favorites doing lots of competitions and cracking jokes. The kids came away so very happy!

Jenny's visit!

My sister visited! They had a full schedule made via Josh's media connections but we got to join them on a few adventures. So fun to have them here!
