We go to Florida on vacation and what do I do? Take pictures of the boys in dead grass, of course! Enjoy the Sad Sod pictures while I tell you about all the things the boys have learned to do the during our trip.
1) Dash learned how to turn on the shower when in the bath tub. The sound of the shower about to start sends him into a fit of giggles.
2) Dash learned how to shimmy up onto a chair. His first try took him about half a minute. His second try took him about two seconds.
3) For the last five nights, when we tell him to fold his arms for a family prayer, Dash holds his hands together against his chest. And looks at us as if to say, "Are you proud of me?"
4) They've learned how to remove their diapers.
5) They now know that plugs go in electrical sockets and attempt to put them in their place. Much to our discontent.
6) Liam knows to put the lens cap back on the camera. Along with a bunch of fingerprints.
7) I don't know what to call it, so I asked Sean, and he said that Dash has learned to "flibber his lips." You know, when you flip your bottom lip with your finger. Like that.
8) Liam's made grand improvements in walking. He used to lunge into his steps without much stability. Now he balances himself really well and can take several steps.
9) Dash has learned to dance in a cute twist style. And apparently can get Dad to do it, too.
10) Liam shoots his hand up, like superman (according to his cousins). Sometimes to point to something, sometimes to show his excitement.
But this they've known for a very long time: how to look so cute that people simply must pick up their camera. There's a whole blog to prove it.
