Town Parade
The time came again for our towns fall parade. Shara's hubby was out of town and Sean was sick (the guys been sick every week for the last two months. Something about being around sick kids all the time.) so we made our own Mom and Kids parade as we found a spot.
The cleverly brought chairs. And they sweetly offered to share.
Time for the parade!
Are you creeped out by clowns? I like clowns. They're fun and sweet. Sure, not when they're in scary makeup but when they're like this? I gotta smile.
Grey had brought along a carrot and was slowly munching. UNTIL candy started flying from the parade-walkers. That carrot was on the ground, completely forgotten. Poor orange veggie.
It was fun to see what all the princesses, or whatever they call them, for each town did for their display. Generally, it was pretty dresses and waving or a cutely choreographed dance.
Sometimes it was loud and Grey was very unhappy. He likes sirens from a distance.
This guy is one of the Vulcan Krewe (a group I really don't understand but is related to the Saint Paul Winter Carnival?). He brought along some face paint...
And now Liam has a goatee.
And now he's Mus-Dash.
What Liam looked like after five minutes. (note the candy in the pocket)
I think this was our favorite. Liam and Dash still bring up the little van that threw candy.
I liked watching these restaurant employees watch the parade from their empty venue. No customers= easy viewing!
