(2+ weeks later...) Grey had a lovely birthday. We decorated a bit, complete with scattered balloons. Grey was a fan, though we had to watch him extra carefully. Obviously.
I made cupcakes! The frosting was a little drippy, but, eh.
Grey first tried the frosting...
Then the cake...
Then went to town!
We had some friends over to celebrate. It was really a playdate with cupcakes. But I had a party for Liam and Dash, so I had to have a party for Grey too.
Because a year of this guy's life is worthy of so much celebration!
Now those are birthday hands.

You are such a great Mama! The bunting! The colorful paper streamer hanger thingies! The cupcakes (drippy frosting is IN!) Grey loved it, and his guests had a blast. AND! Celebrate! YOU DID IT! ONE YEAR!! Woo hoooo!
