Four Corners

Sean's grandpa in Arizona was having a surprise birthday party a couple weekends ago (I'm catching up!) and we decided we were just close enough that we could make the drive down. We took the kids out of school for a couple days (which, if you know me, was kind of a big deal) and did a little adventuring on the way down. We stopped at the four corners! The kids thought it was so cool and each had a turn being in four states at once.

Wren... was not particularly happy when we first arrived. Not enough sleep. Thankfully, she took a good nap in the car afterward, which is quite unusual for her. She was just that tired.

The kids ran all around, expending their pent up energy. It's a long drive down to AZ!

It was really nice to be there in the off season. There were lots of benches and signs indicating a limit on how many photos to take- people must have to do some decent waiting during the summer. We practically had the run of the place. And now everyone has New Mexico on their Visited States List!
