San Jacinto

Sean had a free day so chose our adventure- the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Park.

This here monument commemorates the battle in which Texas won its independence from Mexico.

I had to look all that up. It's hard to read the signs with three kids in tow.

Dash just woke up from a car nap and was all emo.

Liam had just woken up too but was all goofy.

Grey didn't sleep and was happy as can be. But he always is. Except for when he's not.

Not much else to do there but admire the height and walk through the little museum.

But just next door was something exciting, so we took a little walk. You'll see tomorrow what we found.
