Sandy dunes

Our kids begged us to the Sand Dunes on Memorial Day because their friend was going, too. We relented even though the weather didn't look ideal. It was cold when we got there and just got colder. At one point I had to turn back with half the kids and the dog and we just huddled in a blanket until everyone else came back. Still, though, it was a fun visit. Lots of running and leaping and trudging back up. We brought snow sleds but they didn't work at all for us. And one of them disappeared when we left them for a bit. The sand would make a neat "whoop" sound when we'd try to clap it together. The river was wide and lovely and FREEZING. Gotta go back on a warmer day. But not TOO warm.
(this is an amalgamation of photos from Sean, Sean's dad, and myself, I can no longer remember which is which)

Wren En Pointe

Well, it's been a minute. You prep for a move, you move homes, and then you unpack from a move, and the blog gets left by the wayside. Such is life. Things did happen, pictures were taken, so I'll try to toss a few up here. First up, Wren took her first dance class!

Such form! Flawless!

A little freestyling...

Yes girl, you do you.
