I like attending festivals and town events, they're so fun and quaint. So I was excited to attend Territory Days, which Colorado Springs hosts every Memorial Day.
Total bust.
It was pretty much all vendors and ticketed rides, just a place to spend money. We found a few couple fun spots. Like the guys who would whip you. Really, see:
A video of me subjecting my children to this danger. I wonder if the guy ever messes up.
There was also a little weaving station (is that the right word? Weaving? Looming? I don't know)
Grey liked to touch everything you weren't supposed to touch.
And that was it. At least we got a good walk in. And we know we never need to come back!

Liam and Dash are Baptized!
My twinners were baptized! That means they each decided to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They promised to be followers of Jesus Christ, to serve Him, and to keep His commandments, so that they may be forgiven of sins, have the Holy Ghost as a constant companion, and live forever with Heavenly Father. It was a very special day and many came to support them, which was so lovely. We are grateful!
The way our stake does baptisms, each ward is given a slot on a certain Saturday each month. Two of their friends had birthdays in May so we all shared the program. My mom gave a sweet talk on the Holy Ghost and the grandparents got to witness the baptisms. It was so nice to have so many men in the family participate in the confirmation of the Holy Ghost. And it was immensely wonderful for Sean to baptize and confirm his oldest two sons.
We took some pictures before it all began.
Who's excited? Not them, surely.
Now, this is fun, we're going to keep tacking people on. Here's our crew...
Add my parents! (whoops, didn't realize Dad's right in the sunlight. Stop being so tall, Dad.)
What's one set of grandparents without the other set!
Now add an aunt, a couple uncles, and some cousins to the mix. The boys were so happy to have to you all here. (Sorry Griffith Family, you guys get to be sun beams)
Okay, time to pare it down. This guys is the best dad.
The three in white. What a beautiful day.
(and because I thought about this program a ridiculous amount, I have to share the front and back of the printed program I made, too)

Last Day of School '18
Ah, the bittersweetness of the last day of school. Missing friends, but no more early mornings, sad to leave the teacher, but no homework, etc, etc. I always cried on the first day of school and the last day of school- I just couldn't be pleased. But we're definitely happy to be enjoying summer fun in this house!
Bonus photo: We've got a student wannabe!
These guys did great. Tried hard, learned a lot, worked out any challenges they faced.
Now this girl is adjusting to having people around her all the time.
Earlier that day, Grey had a graduation ceremony. Oh the cuteness of Kindergarten.
Receiving his (rather fancy) diploma. I'm a photographer, guys!
It was also the Air Force Academy graduation that day so we got to enjoy the air show!
Summertime starts when we hear those jets roar!

Field Day 2018
All the boys had an afternoon Field Day at school, so Wren skipped her nap and we became spectators for a couple hours. We would start out watching the Kindergarten class, then switch to the second graders half way through a rotation. Then we'd follow the older boys to their next rotation and, half way through, go find the Kindergartners again. Back and forth, over and over. With a slightly disobedient but sometimes sweet daughter in tow. I was kinda glad when the event was called early due to an incoming storm. They had plenty of fun. See:
