FEEDING THE RESCUE ANIMALS
Near Sean's grandparents house, there's a little rescue operation in someone's backyard. He puts out pellets and carrots and anyone can come by to feed the animals.
The donkey's would just hold their mouth open while you chuck food in. He knows the deal.
Wren took a little warming up but she eventually tossed in some food.
We were even treated to a pig and tortoise race. Who do you think won?
SURPRISE PARTY!
The whole reason we came! Lots of friends and family came and (I think) successfully surprised Grandpa Reid. It was fun to see all sorts of extended family!
Wren was a grumpity grump for the first long while (have you noticed a theme with her?) but finally felt comfortable. Then she roamed from lap to lap. And had a perpetually messy face.
Sean has a cousin who's about the twins' age and they kept each other quite entertained. I'm so glad they had each other! Fun party! (What is Wren doing?)
MESA TEMPLE LIGHTS
Sean's parents were sealed in the Mesa Temple and we took the kids for a visit.
Guess what, it's all lit up!
Can't get enough nativities at Christmas time.
The next day we spent a good fourteen hours driving back home. We let loose with the electronics and everyone did remarkably well. Oh, let's not forget to mention Aunt Michelle and Uncle Mark for hosting us! It was everything we could ask for, thank you! Until next time, Arizona!
