Up the street from the big house we were all sharing was a nice pool area. It would have been a quick walk away had we not been in the Ozarks. Instead, we had to get in the car and drive the 30 seconds up the gigantic hill. No way I was walking three kids up that thing.
I was super impressed by how adventurous the boys were being. With the help of their froggie floaties, they were quite okay with swimming off on their own a bit. Not too far though. But more than they used to. And we always had lots of helpers. In fact, Ethan was such a fun companion for Liam and Dash the whole time. They'd just follow him around and do what he did all week. And Ethan was a great friend!
There was a nice big pool (with a couple slides that the boys were too young/small to try), a hot tub, and kiddie shallow pool. We were all hopping from one to the other (Well, Liam and Dash were, while I followed them, as did Grey who was stuck to my hip).
Grey was quite content anywhere he was put, he just really enjoys the water. This contraption helped rest my arms a bit.
Liam was very brave and walked all the way under the waterfall. Always sure to cover his face.
As if dared, Dash tried it, too. Way to go, guys!
Mommy, Dash is drinking the water! Good thing my dad was there to capture that!
