One of my favorite activities of the whole reunion was renting out a couple of pontoon boats and inner tubes to tool around the lake for a couple hours (plus some, since one boat stopped running at the end and someone had to come tow us in).
Meet our captain! Or maybe he was just helping. My dad and Josh drove the boats and they would drive our tubers around until someone fell out.
Grey was just so chill most of the time. Which is a relief, since I he was super cranky before the boat started moving. Probably because of that big, hot life-jacket he's wearing. But once he started to feel the wind, he just laid back to take it all in.
Guess who wanted to go on the tube? Liam did, Liam did!
Guess who didn't want to go? Dash definitely didn't, no matter how many times I asked.
Liam did so great, holding tight but still having fun. Dad took it pretty slow for us.
But Liam still managed to fall out. And I held on to him. I probably should have let go, for he could have injured his arm, but my brain did not even consider letting him go- I had to hold on to my baby! Liam wanted to get back on the boat after that.
Oh look, while we were out, mom got Grey to sleep!
Looks like it's contagious.
Oops, awake again. You just take the shortest naps when you're out of bed, don't you, Grey?
Now would you believe it, after last time's outcome, Liam requested to go again! This time we put him in the middle, much safer place. And he didn't fall out this time, someone else did.
Then it was mom's turn...
You could see dad get a glimmer in his eye...
And he held nothing back! Nevertheless, mom stayed dry. Fun day for all!
