Zoo-warding

On Saturday past, we returned to the zoo.

There was much pointing.

Much peering.

Much staring.

We saw so many fun animals that we decided to award some of the most outstanding.

First we begin with a six-way tie for Sleepiest Animal.

Sleepy Giraffe

Sleepy Lion A

Sleepy Lion B

Sleepy Bear

We decided this guy had the Prettiest Spots.

This one's the Cleverest Animal. We thought for a while that his horns were stuck but after a while concluded that he was just using the rope to scratch his scalp.

This section of the zoo gets Best Viewing Arena for it's slanted glass that Dash and Liam could lean against and smoosh their face into.

Comfiest.

These guys are the Three Silliest Monkeys.

This tiger wins for Piercingest Eyes. New word, everyone.

This cat wins for Most Entertaining. He kept going after his straw like it was stuffing in a teddy bear.

Seriously, Dash was laughing off his rocker.

These two win Most Mary Cassatt-esque.

Liam and Dash told me these birds should be declared Cutest Tooshies.

I decided this bird wins Awesomest Legs.

These three win the gold in Synchronized Scratching.

Thirstiest.

These birdies Make the Biggest Waves. I know I know, I couldn't think of a good one.

And finally, this guy also wins the coveted Fluffiest Face. Watch out for that visage on your morning cereal boxes, ladies and gentlemen!

Wow, quite the awards event at the zoo!
