Clip

Liam and Dash have taken a big step in their little baby lives. They experienced another first on Saturday. It was...

The First Haircut

It was time. Their hair was getting oh so straggly. Though, the before pictures below don't show that so well. Go look at the Arboretum pictures to see how goofy their hair was getting.

BAH! Where'd my baby's soft fluffy hair go?! Now it's so... even and... short!

Don't worry, we kept some of that soft fluffy baby down for posterity's sake.

Do you think the cut makes them look even more similar? My parents think so.

We used clippers with the longest attachment (an inch) and I highly recommend it. No scary scissor-wielding around my babies. Plus there's much less room for error. Just a couple missed spots that make me giggle when I discover them.

Oh, I have some pictures from before the haircut that I still need to blog about, so when I do put them up, don't think my boy's have Harry Potter-like locks that grow back in a day. It can be a game to see when I finally catch up!

Their first haircut... my little boys are growing up...

Face Squish

IMG_4098e
When Liam and Dash spot something fluffy and soft, they scooch on over and plunge their face into it. I call it the Face Squish.

Where do they typically Squisheth those Faces?

This and That

I wanna talk about the funny little things Liam and Dash do. So I'm gonna.

Sometimes Liam gets up on his hands and feet, drops his head, and looks behind him through his legs. Adorable.

When Dash sneezes, he does a sort of fake mini-sneeze before he lets out the real thing. Adorable.

Both of them say "Da da da" incessantly, but even more often when Sean's around. And then they get even cuter and just whisper it. Adorable.

I love to see what kind of bedhead they'll wake up to. Adorable.

Liam now sits himself up from his tummy and then waves his arms around wildly in excitement. Adorable.

Sometimes they'll press their forehead against the window for leverage when pulling up on the sill. Adorable.

Both of them are really enjoying trying more grown-up foods and sometimes things get messy. Adorable.

They always light up when they see Pogo, without fail. Adorable.

Their smile features a generously-sized gap between their front teeth. Adorable.

Dash enjoys rocking front to back when he stands up. Adorable.

I can tell they really adore their papa and just want to play with him all the day long. Adorable.

Living on the Edge

IMG_4568e
Two little boys simultaneously learning how to stand on their own is... precarious.

I think we need to invest in some helmets.
