We have a Chromecast on our television set up to rotate through our personal photos. One appeared from our day last year spent on the north side of the local lake. The kids quickly asked, "can we go there, mom?" And I replied, "oh yes!"
So they picked some of their current favorite things, like their lunch boxes (anticipating the start of school) filled with legos and their light sabers-turned-fire hose (to be like Paw Patrol's Marshall, a new favorite) and we off to a little peaceful time by the water.
Wrenny Pie slept the whooooole time.
Many rocks and many acorns found a new home in the lake.
The boys took turns taking photos of each other. I believe Dash snapped this one.
This was one of our last outings before school started. So nice to have a little time together in the outdoors.
