Liam and Dash's birthday was delightful. It was a pretty rainy day so we didn't do any of the fun outdoor activities we hoped but any day that starts with making a cake can't be bad, right?
This is their second song and candle blowing, since they started blowing candles in the middle of their birthday song the first time. I had to get my video!
We played a little with their birthday presents, like this great basketball hoop.
Grey can even dunk on this one!

And hiding from the rain.
Later on, a trip to Toys R Us to just play with everything and find some more basketballs.
A couple days later, their presents from Mimi and Pompa came! (and even more waiting for their present from my parents: swim lessons in July!)
Did you know it's rather hard for one adult to teach bike-riding to two children at once? There's a lot of back and forth for me and not-so-patient waiting for them when they need a push. But sometimes, they can get it just fine themselves.
They're pretty good at maneuvering. And right now they're adamant about going slow. Ugh. They go so slow that friction keeps winning and I have to give them a push again. Just go fast, kids!
Grey, not to be left out, does like going fast. Backwards is his favorite.
