Brains! We finally made it to the Science Museum and it was great!
There was a ton of fun to be had for our boys. Some things were little beyond them but then they'd help dad with those (like building a generator or something) which is even better.
I knew babies have poor eyesight but with these demonstrations, woah, really bad.
No wonder newborns sleep a lot, there's not much they can see!
Wood... is... science... too.
A two-headed turtle!
Dash is about to be eaten by skelegator!
Liam's so excited to be the same size.
Heeheehee, Liam as seen through a big glass ball.
Heeeeehehee, Dash, heehee.
This is a softball-sized pituitary gland. This triceratops must have felt a lot of feelings.
Little boy, big chair.
Strings, strings, colorful strings.
A sheet of bubble (bubbleS?)
Saying fairwell to the Science Lemur. We'll be back again for sure!

Dragon Pool
We may not be in Texas anymore but it can still get hot! Well, not right now really, but a little bit ago, there wasn't any fun to be had outside except in a pool. (and we have one shaped like a dragon!)
But our hose water is frrrrrrreezing. Liam and Dash would hardly sit in the pool, mostly standing up with some toys or perched on the side.
And Grey wouldn't even consider entering the pool, so he got a little bucket next to him to splash.
Gotta stay cool but not too cool.

Phone Snippits
A little over a month ago, my world changed... I got an iPhone. So I get to join the ranks of bloggers who unload phone/instagram photos in one fowl heap.
Did you know the Mall of America has an amusement park inside? Craziness.
A carousel ride was in order.
Liam started putting a plastic bag over his head to be silly, so I set him straight and then they did plastic bag races instead. It was more like plastic bag shuffling.
This is one of Grey's favorite places to explore. That boy is so food obsessed, I think his brain may be controlled by his taste buds.
Feeling some tummy troubles, I used the old standby, Sprite, to calm the storm. Then I wondered, does this treatment have any merit?
We explored a new park and upon arrival, saw that a big spider web of ropes made up half the playground. I thought, that's a bummer, my kids will only use half the park, they won't do those ropes. Two minutes later, they were half way up to the top. What do I know?
Sean made us some banana chocolate popsicles, mmm.
The boys insisted they use their dollar section activity books in the trunk of the van.
Our friends came back from a trip out west with this giant bottle of happiness for us. If it had come with a BYU Creamery chocolate milk, I would have insisted I was back in Provo. Love JDawgs.
Taking a moment away from a playground to enjoy the lake. They weren't exaggerating when they named this state The Land of Ten Thousand Lakes. Beautiful.

County Fair
A couple weeks ago was our county fair. Who doesn't love a county fair?
All the boys enjoyed seeing all the animals. A kind lady gave us their extra feed when they were heading out- Dash took the cup and dumped the contents into a goat pen. Well, I guess that works.
They became expert cow milkers.
Babies looking at babies!
Aren't they cute fluffy cuddlies?
Now, when we were driving in, Liam saw the ferris wheel and was talking about it non-stop. It took a lot of convincing to eat and do the animal things first. But we did finally go down to the games, Liam pulling us along like a dog straining on a leash.
So we give them the choice of which ONE ride they want to do... and they pick the trucks!
I think they were pleased with their choice.
Grey made faces for us while we waited through the ride. There was this sideshow next door full of natural anomalies, like two-headed turtles and a eight-legged pig. The recorded advertisement was playing over and over- "spiiiiiiider pig" will forever be etched into our brains.
This was the phase where Grey liked to puff air through his lips. So many fun tricks to learn when you're figuring out how to work your body.
Now we can't wait for the state fair. Because you-know-who hasn't stopped talking about a ferris wheel...
