What They Like Lately

1) Chewing: always an in-house favorite.

Rubber Ducky: teething toy extraordinaire

(chewing while in dad's arms makes it even better)

2) Playing with toys

Especially if it involves wheels, things that spin,...

...climbing over things,...

...and giggling.

And finally, the very very very favorite new activity:

3) Standing: I hold my hands out, stationary, for them to grab and pull themselves up on. It gets tricky when they both want to do it at the same time.

So sometimes they use the window ledge instead.

That's the face I'm making as I think of the new level of baby-proofing I need to do!

Good Sitter-Uppers

It's funny, right after I wrote my post asking how to get the boys to stop flopping backward while sitting, they started doing much better all on their own.

Though, I still put something soft behind them because they like to try antics, like grabbing each other's toy.

So this happens.

And this happens.

So while Dash relishes this battle's victory and Liam plots part two of Operation: Obtain Blue Bendy Straw, we all can enjoy the fact that no one has a bump on their head.

Valentino

I spy, with my little eye, my three valentines.

But this silly boy is my most especially special valentine. I love you, Seanbear.

Floral

First I let my children fling around dangerous, pokey sticks, next I let them play with plants. I'm going for Mother of the Year here, folks.

It always starts out sweet and innocent.

But quickly devolves to this.

...this flower playtime session ended quickly.

At least I have hope they'll like their leafy vegetables, right?
