Hi! I'm Liam! I just turned eight years old!
I'm a pretty awesome kid. I'm interested in anything worth being interested in. I love to try new games and master old ones. I love to play soccer in the backyard. I love to learn odd facts. I love to make people laugh. I love bike and scooter rides. I love my new origami book. I love video games. I love my family!
Hi! I'm Dash! I too just turned eight years old!
What a stud I am. I sure love learning and excelling. I like chasing after the soccer ball. I love to play things where there aren't necessarily winners and losers. I love to be goofy and come up with silly stories and circumstances. Bottle flipping is pretty great. I like to make sure people follow the rules. I love being with my family!
Happy birthday to us!
One more thing!
We both have decided to get baptized to become members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! It's happening on Saturday! Our family and we are so very proud and excited! It's going to be one special day!

Easter 2018
It was a wonderful Easter, as always. We dyed eggs with cool whip and food coloring again. Sean got pulled away taking some work calls as they worked on it, so I didn't document the process with the camera, as my hand were perma-coated while helping out. Easter itself was delightful, full of baskets, egg hunting, and reflecting on the blessing of Christ in our lives. A few shots of the hunt:

GoG with Naomi
Of course, we must take our visitors to Garden of the Gods. I mean, it's a national treasure! Probably. It should be. Here we go!
This dang rock circle always gets so much attention.
It started out cold!
Busy place.
She tucked herself all the way back.
Lately, when they smile, they tuck in their top lip. Charming...
Thanks for visiting, Mom, Dad, and Naomi!

Seven Falls
We decided to take our guests up to a hike we hadn't tried yet, Seven Falls. Lamely, you have to pay to get in but at least we came just before the price increase for the "summer." It was a chilly day and it eventually rained, which then turned to snow. Fun still!
It's an easy, paved walk up to the falls. No problemo.
Lovely little water scenes on the way up.
Grey waiting for his mama, who is always behind because she's taking pictures.
I like them.
One of the kids pointed out some trees whose roots were almost entirely sticking out of the natural wall border of the path. The roots on the other side must be pretty strong!
A cloudy day means awesome lighting.
Always looking for a place to take a break.
Must try out every bench.
Empty nest.
There were some stairs (and an elevator) up to a heightened view of the falls. Hi everyone who climbed faster than me!
Grey's face, ha!
We were supposed to be looking at the falls but Grey was fixated on the restaurant (yep, there's a restaurant on this hike!), convinced it was Santa's Workshop.
Speaking of, here's the falls, captured by me phone- I didn't bring the right lens to get the the whole thing with my nice camera.
Familia.
She kept noticing me taking photos and ruining my candid shots. But I got her this time! (or maybe she just started playing along)
Happy boy.
Contemplative boy.
Then we went on some more stairs to get up close and personal with the waterfalls.
Hello.
Mmhmm, give me a slice of that pie!
I didn't really want to carry Wren up the stairs and my parents didn't really want to climb it either, so they had fun together below.
There's a hiking path at the top.
We didn't hike far, just found some snow and threw snowballs at each other.
Ah, there's the teenager in her.
Quick family shot on the way back.
Poor Grey's stomach started to hurt on the walk back, so we took it nice and slow. Then he felt better.
A little sweetness on the shuttle ride. All hikes should end with a kiss!
