Biking to the Park
So often my boys don't want to go on a walk or bike ride just for the sake of walking or biking. They want to go somewhere.
This particular evening, we headed to the nearest park.
This sort of adventure calls for snow gloves. Obviously.
Little Miss doesn't get a bike ride but the stroller does just fine for her.
Eager to see what there is to see. She doesn't mind walking for walking's sake.
Then I remembered that it was time to take her helmet off. Huzzah!
We made it to the park and found our favorite things.
Swings! Although, swing sharing isn't Grey's utmost favorite.
This spinner is a big kid fav, especially now that they can do it on their own.
Hi Liam.
There goes Dash!
Grey was quite proud of his climbed height.
Meanwhile, Wren had a little Daddy time.
Everything's good when dad's around.
One thing I think she missed most when wearing the helmet is rubbing her forehead on things. Like whiskers.
And then, it's time to go.
Hold on a moment, dandelion break!
Okay, okay, actually going now. Let's hit the road.

Silver Laking
Spring's been teasing us with some warm days here and there. While I'm pretty sure we're at a point where it's not going to get chilly again, it's been touch and go for a couple of months. One of our warm days, one of the kids thought of going to the beach. Once spoken, then there was no stopping the boys' desire. So, to the beach! Here's a few snippets (and I have a problem, I cannot stop with the black and white beach photos, I love 'em)

6
Hi! I'm Liam! I just turned six years old!
I'm full of life and still love to be impressive. I like learning new things and exploring ideas. My mom is always impressed by my ability to come up with and then complete creative projects.
While I sometimes don't have the most patience with my brothers, I'm a very nice friend and am always so excited when my friends do something good or exciting. And I adore my sister! Carrying her around is one of my favorite things!
I really like to build things, be it with blocks or dominos or legos or hot wheels tracks. I'm a great student and love learning all sorts of subjects. But that doesn't mean I've forgotten my silly side- I can make the best of them giggle. Dash especially.
Hi! I'm Dash! I just turned six years old!
I'm a sweet boy who soaks up the best of life. While I can certainly have a good emotional meltdown when I'm frustrated by a brother, I'm generally a very kind-hearted, kind kid. I'm a really good friend and I can't get enough of my baby sister! It makes my day when she smiles at me.
I love reading books where I get to learn new things. I do a great job in school! When I read, I like to make sure I read tricky words carefully so don't make mistakes. I like building too and making cool contraptions and mazes.
I can be such a silly kid, making jokes, giggling with Liam, doing crazy dances. I love to make people smile. Happiness is my favorite!
Happy birthday, Liam and Dash!
Bonus wish-making photo of Grey!

Fargo Children's
The Fargo's Children Museum is a big house converted into a kid's wonderland. The kids had a blast and suprisingly (not) didn't want to stay all together, so Sean and I would follow a couple kids each and switch every now and then. I'm such an amazing mother that I took the same number of pictures of each child! So let's go through it person by person.
Grey's going to make an excellent farmer one day.
Or, perhaps, a cowboy.
Just make sure there's a bubble wall in his life. He has the cheeks for it.
Liam can't resist a map challenge, even if the state shapes are a little peculiar.
Trying his hand at cowboyin' too.
The original selfie.
Dash is a bee with attitude.
There were lots of musical instruments to try but I think the organ was a favorite. My grandparents had one and I always loved playing with it when we visited.
Controlling the marble maze- so much power, ha ha ha.
On the short drive from the air museum to the children's museum, Wren took about a 30-second nap and didn't go back to sleep once we got her out of the car. What a morning nap!
She did remarkably well being carted around and occasionally having a chance to play too.
And once we started driving back home, she took a nice long car nap. Phew.
North Dakota, check!
